| Product Features- What is the DCC?
- The Dolphins Cycling Challenge (“DCC”) was a two-day tri-county charity cycling event coordinated by the Miami Dolphins Foundation. The purpose of the DCC is to increase cancer awareness, encourage healthy hobbies, and raise funds for the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The cycling portion of the DCC will took place on November 20th and 21st, 2010, with Registration Packet Pick Up on November 19th at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens.
- The DCC offered various options for riders of different abilities spanning the tri-county area. The first day will was a 100-mile "century" ride – known as “the Miami Century Ride” – from Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens to West Palm Beach. At the close of Day 1, there was a celebration at CityPlace in West Palm Beach to congratulate the Miami Century Riders and register the West Palm Beach Riders.
- Day 2 consisted of two rides from which participants can choose: The first is a 70-mile ride from CityPlace down to Sun Life Stadium. The second is a 30-mile ride from Ft. Lauderdale to Sun Life Stadium. For younger cyclists, DCC hosted a “Kids Ride” that finished simultaneously with the adult riding groups at Sun Life Stadium. At the conclusion of the DCC, Sun Life Stadium hosted a celebration to honor those who participated in raising funds and increasing cancer awareness.
